A couple days ago, my housemates, the gossip and the princess dragged me to the movies. I wanted to see 'Nacho Libre', the new Jack Black movie. I saw the preview of it and I found it funny. Instead, they decided to see 'The Lake House'.

Now I like Keanu and Sandra....especially in the

movie 'Speed.' Now that was an awesome movie. I remember after watching that 'Speed' the first time, my dad took all of us out for dinner. He took us to a restaurant that was on the 20th floor and in the elevator, throughout the whole ride up, my brothers kept jumping, shaking the elevator to scare me. And the elevator attandent was not amused. Yes....growing up with, pain in the arse brothers has its perks, but this is not one of it.

Anyway, when they announced that we were going to watch 'The Lake House', I really didn't want to watch it. I was in a mood to watch some funny comedy....but I guess two against one, I had no choice.

The whole concept of the movie was pretty interesting and I guess I have to admit, I loved this movie. It kinda tells the story of two person who are meant to be together....only time is separating them. What I got from this movie was, sometime, you meet someone who could possibly be your soul mate, but you just met him or her at the wrong time. I guess the whole soul mate has to happen at the right time...all the stars are align or something. If you've seen the movie 'Serendipity' and liked it, then you'll definitely love this movie.

I do believe that there is a lid for every pot out there. It's just a matter of finding him or her at the right time. I do wonder if I'll ever get all my stars aligned or something and maybe meet my soul mate or is my boyfriend the one?

Anyway if you wanna see a good movie, catch this one. After all the action packed summer movies, I think 'The Lake House' would be a nice change. Watch it and tell me what you think. :)

P.S Anybody seen 'Nacho Libre'?

I do have to say that it is nothing like Napoleon Dynamite, which I was glad about. I'd hate to have seen them try to milk ND for all it's worth and just reuse all the same gags. But Nacho Libre was, in my mind, pleasingly original. Although, like ND, it's one of those movies that you want to see it again, and I'm sure it'll be funnier the second time around. 6 月 26 日

I read reviews about how it was stupid and people didn't like it because they don't even explain why the time thing works. The thing that's great about it is you just don't care how it works. Keanu is usually a dork, but he wasn't too bad in this movie. Glad you finally went and saw another movie. Next you should see Tokyo Drift. . .
