    This Message Will Self Destruct in 5 Seconds....

    I finally finished my last paper, emailed it and will hand in the hard copy on Monday to my professor.  It's the weekend and I think I've had enough of studies for today, so I decided to go to the movies and skip the party that one of my friends are throwing tonight.  With the finals around the corner, most of my friends will be there to blow off some steam before hitting the books again.
     
    The movies that we decided to watch was the 'Mission Impossible : III'.  I can't stand Tom Cruise.....but each time I see him in the movies, I just go ga ga over him.  He is always playing this perfect, nice guy.  And he plays it so convincingly, I just forget that I don't really like him.  So as we were going to watch Mission Impossible movie....I kept telling my friend that I don't believe Katie Holmes had a child with him.  Tom Cruise is so weird....I can see Nicole Kidman having a child with him, but Katie Homes??  It's just weird, izzit just me or what?
     
    Anyway....the movie was great.  In fact I think I like it this third one, is better than the other two Mission Impossible movies.  Somehow, this one is not as confusing as the other two.  I've got hand it to Tom Cruise, his stunts were impressive and from what I heard, he does all his own stunt, which is kinda cool.  OK, so overall...I love this movie.  And the actor who plays the bad guy, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, you just love to hate this guy.  He's so good!  I can see why he won the Oscar. 
     
    One more thing I notice....that in almost all Tom Cruise movies, there is always a scene when he's running.  There is always a running scene, you know?  Maybe it's just me, but in all his movies, I can always expect a running scene....even in 'Vanilla Sky', right?  I don't know...maybe it's coz it's kinda late and I'm tired.  Oh well....hope you guys have a good weekend. 
     
    P.S The darn Mission Impossible theme song is in my head....so I thought I might share it with you guys.

    loll on the cartoon kid names, I was called by a lady named Angelique, for my probation interview, The only Angelique I ever heard of was the witch on "Dark Shadows" the old gothic soap in the 70s, I was gonna name my little girl that if if i ever had one, i loved the name : )
    I'm with you on Tom Cruise, his movie charactors you can't help but like the person Tom Cruise is playing out (too wierd and cocky) funny he only got so outspoken when he got with holmes, was a wimp before her......weird. Well Have a good weekend : ) hugs Kat

    I think I've always enjoyed Mr. Cruise on screen.  He broadcast a certain intensity.  It's the off screen intensity that appears misdirected.  For a guy who seems so focused in his acting, he appears scattered and unbelievable in "real life".  Kind of like he's been stuck in exam week for the last few years, if you know what I mean.

    I used to love ole Tom, but now he kind of makes me sick.  I watched him on the View the other morning talking about MI:3.  And even then, he made me feel icky. I probably won't even see the movie.  Why, Tom, why did you have to turn on me?!?! ;-)  Have a great week!

    Yeah, I used to be IN LOVE with Tom Cruise when I was like, in the 7th grade.  But he keeps getting weider and weider and I find I like him less and less.  Except in movies.  Oh, how I LOVE MAVERICK (TOP GUN).  Droolllinnngggg.

    I love Tom Cruise... my husbands thinks I'm crazy.  I go ga-ga too. Have you seen Top Gun, when he was just a wee boy?  Amazing, I tell ya...not the acting, just the face...lol....

    i get the same feeling for Tom, i do not like him much but then i find him irresistable in movies! well at least i like him for his acting!
    good weekend over here but monday came too soon, and my boss is in a bad mood, and i do not feel like him!
    oh well, wish i were garfield!!
