This is the scene I'm talking about...

The newest version of Pride and Prejudice, staring Kiera Knightley is out on DVD and I bought it. I've seen it once before at the movies, but I just couldn't resist watching it again. So I popped some popcorn, turn off all the ringers on my phones and snuggled up with Diesel to watch the movie.

I just want to share with you, the most romantic lines, I think, in the movie. This is my favorite scene in the whole movie, where Mr Darcy tells Elizabeth how he felt, again...

"If your feelings are still what they were last April tell me so at once. My affections and wishes have not changed but one word from you will silence me forever.

If, however your feelings have changed I would tell you, You have bewitched me, body and soul...and I love...I love...I love you.

I never wish to be parted from you from this day on"

Sigh...I don't know if any of you remember this scene, at the end of the movie, but I just love this scene. I love Mr Darcy...he's standoffish but there is just thing about Mr Darcy. I don't know....maybe it's just me but sigh.....

I've seen the BBC mini series version of Pride and Prejudice and I think the best Mr Darcy was played by Colin Firth....he was also Mark Darcy in the Bridget Jones Diaries. But this new Mr Darcy, Matthew MacFadyen, comes close. If you haven't seen it, please do....I think its a great movie. And if you've seen both version, the BBC mini series and the movie, which Mr Darcy do you like better? Colin or Matthew?

Jane Austen has such a way with dialogue, and she really captured the social atmosphere of her time in her novels. Now I can't wait to get this DVD in the mail!
